I need help on below Lethe. Both are taken in different locations and time.
It seems like both are Lethe chandica to me but the markings and colors are not matched, forewing of one has a broad white band. Except for the basel line which is not straight.

What are the key differences of this species ? Can anyone help ?

No.1 is a female, No.2 is the male. The forewing white band is common to many of the Lethe females.

I dlo not think it is L. europa. The forewing white ban in europa is regular in width. The band as shown in the photo is not, and matches the band in L. chandica.
