Found many of them somewhere in Genting near the streams, but didn't get the good upperside shot. I will be back for more... :redbounce

Nice shots, LC! :cheers: Always great to see "wild" shots of this species. It's being bred at Penang Butt Farm and also the one at Phuket, so the host plant is known.

You can see a picture of the caterpillar on our blog article on Phuket (http://butterflycircle.blogspot.com/2010/01/paradisical-phuket.html).

The upperside is spectacularly colourful, for such a drab butterfly, and in a caged environment, they are more likely to open the wings to sunbathe, like what I shot at PBF (http://www.butterflycircle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3093&) some time back.

A butterfly that would be nice to re-introduce to Singapore. :)
