Disappointed with Sendat waterfall a day before, I went to Gua Tempurong with a friend.
The weather was fantastic, sunshines & clear blue skies whole day until we headed home in the evening.
We just spent 2 to 3 hours there and the result was pretty good, except some mistakes that I made in my shots,
DOF was not enough and some are not parallel to the subject.
Thought it was good viewing on camera LCD but not on PC monitor. Problem with my eyes due to old age.

:) Will go back there ...........I shall return!:bsmile:

Very nice shot of the Dark Cupid , have not seen one yet!

Nice exposure of the Rohana parisatis siamensis , it is difficult to correctly expose the very dark upper with the surrounding.

Dark Cupid is quite common over there. Probably you were too busy after the big butts. :bsmile:

You should go for underside shot of Rohana parisatis siamensis.

Great shot of the Dark Cupid, and an even better one of Rohana parisatis. As Sunny says, the very dark and featureless upperside makes it very difficult to get it right (which I have yet to do:cry: !).

Thanks Les. Nowadays hor, there is one software called CS3 hor. You can adjust the exposure hor. :bsmile:

Btw, Is the last skipper Halpe porus ??

I've done a quick check and the closest I can find is Halpe hauxwelli. I think this is right, but, perhaps, SK might be able to confirm, if he has come across this species before.

I attach a photo of Halpe porus, which is common up here, for comparison.
