    1. Potanthus trachala female.
    FW band widely detached bteween spot 5 & 6. HW upper spot strongly projected out.
    P. trachala in Singapore have the FW spots with more concave margins.
    All examples from Singapore.

    2. Potanthus omaha male.HW veins darkened.
    The darkening of the veins varies greatly on both sides & can be very confusing with P. ganda.
    All examples from Singapore. Underside without black spots; lightly shaded.

    Potanthus ganda .all Singapore examples. veins not darkened but sometimes very lightly ;darker shading.

    3. Female Potanthus omaha.
    The underside FW veins are sharply darkened.

    4. male Potanthus omaha.
    The HW veins are darkened though not strongly ;FW spots with straight sides; Degree of detchment variable.
