    Default Sat @Punggol End

    Sharing few shots taken during last Sat's outing at Punggol end. Sighted quite a few skippers but couldn't ID them correctly, let me know the ID if you can

    1. Telicota spp,
    2. Telicota spp. side view,
    3. Telicota spp. blue sky shot,
    4~5. No Brand Grass Yellow,
    6. Skipper, ID TBD.

    Last skipper is nice.

    Could it be the Caltoris cormasa?

    I don't think it is the Caltoris cormasa as the size of the spots on the forewing appeared to be smaller and there seem to be no white spots on the hindwing for the Caltoris cormasa as well

    Nice blue sky shot on #3. The colours of the sky, orange skipper and green blade of grass makes for a nice colour composition.

    Caltoris cormasa is a lot darker brown in colour, and the tornal area of the hindwing has yellow cilia (hair border). This one is probably one of the commoner Polytremis spp.
