Blue for ID.

Shot this DKW(Dun Know What) Blue....anyone wanna attempt an educated ID base on these 3 shots!!.... please do explain why you think so.

The hindwing spots resemble a dc's spots, and markings could be from an aropala/flos. Butterfly cross breed? How big was it?

Noted your educated guess Jonathan. It is the size of a Ionolyce helicon merguiana (Pointed Line Blue)

First time I heard of crossed-bred between Jamides and Arhopalas/Flos.

Is it genetically possible? I also dunno!

It is a Jamides(male), it was in the company of other male Jamides bochus nabonassar (Dark Caerulean, 雅灰蝶), and observed in "aerial dogfights"" with other males.

Both forewing and hindwing striae are aberrated , but conforming to the general layout of the Dark Caerulean. The upper wings marking is similar to a Male 'Dark Caerulean.

It is most likely an aberrant of a Jamides bochus nabonassar

OMG, that's pretty interesting, when i first saw it, i thought the wing shape looked like a Miletinae.

Its wings was retracted down to present a smaller surface to the gusty condition. A number of blues do this to prevent themselves from being blown off their perch.
