Default A new one for Koh Samui

This insignificant looking little skipper is Sarangesa dasahara dasahara (Common Small Flat), and should be new to most of you, as it does not occur any further South than the North of Malaysia. I nearly did not give it a second look, it was behaving just like a small moth. However, I noticed the antennae just in time, so this is another +1 for the Island.

Thank you all. It was a total accident, but a great Xmas present.

I have got to the point where finding new species is very unlikely, so every new one is a red letter day,

    Merry Christmas, Les.

A new species on KS is definitely a good way to start the Christmas holiday!
