I had only seen one specimen of this first butt, over a year ago, and beun wondering if my mind has been playing tricks, as I had neither photo nor specimen as prook. So I was delighted to see a single specimen of Vagrans egista sinha (The Vagrant), at a water seepage yesterday. These are record shots from a distance. I had hoped to get closer and obtain better ones, but as I started my stealthy approach, a motorcyle roared passed and the thing flew away! (This is the reason I always take long distance shots first, in case of accidents). I waited for 30 mins. in case it returned, but it did not.

This second species is the Small Leopard (Phalanta alcippe alcippoides). Not shown often here.
