    Default Simon's Spa 30/5

Here is the first batch of photos. Unfortunately, due to my macro lens playing up, some of the photos do not do the butts justice. Nevertheless, these are all +1s for me.

1 & 2 ) Athyma nefte subrata (Colour Sargeant) -female
    3) Caleta elna elvira (Elbowed Pierrot) - Simon showed up at home!
    4) Eooxylides tharis distanti (Branded Imperial) - Could not get the tails to stop moving!
    5) Mycalesis fusca fusca (Malayn Bush Brown)
    6) Junonia hedonia ida (Chocolate Pansy)

    to be continued........

    1) Polyura hebe plautus (Plain Nawab)
    2) Graphium evemon eventus (Blue Jay)
    3) Athyma pravara helma (Lance Sargeant)

Also spotted two other species new to me, but unable to get photos, either because it did not stop or because my camera jammed!
    Euploea radamanthus radamanthus (Magpie Crow)
    Pyroneura latoia latoia (Yellow-veined Lancer)

Les, our Plain Nawab is the subspecies plautus.

That Elbowed Pierrot looks like it's laying eggs.

    Sorry about that, now changed.

We thought so too, but when we checked the plant, we could not find anything.
