Same genus, though I doubt that yours is Carea varipes. The Moths of Borneo site lists quite a few species in the genus.

still at a loss on the exact one as I am not very familiar with navigation of that site.
I think I'll just leave the genus there... till I can find the exact species.
so I can safely term it under : Lepidoptera: Noctuoidea, Nolidae, Chloephorinae, Careini ??
