    Default What moth is this?

    Encountered this leaf like insect at Lornie Trail today. I assume it is a moth.
    Please help to ID it.

    Your moth is Alex palparia Walker,
    it's range : Borneo, Malaya, Sumatra, Java, N. India and Burma

    common species,

    This species is placed in the family Geometridae

    see also the Moths of Borneo - Desmobathrinae - Alex palparia.
