    Looks more like its close cousin, the Cornelian (Deudorix epijarbas cinnabarus)

    Yes, very pleased with another +1.
    This particular flowering tree is very interesting with quite a number of other butts feeding on the blooming flowers. Is this the same species of tree the silver royal was found on?

    Thanks Federick. Yes, surprises possible while flowers last.

    BTW, confirmed that the specimen is male with a glimpse of its orangy-red upperside as seen in the following pic (circle A). I am also puzzled by the reddish fluid/excretion at one of its legs (circle B). Does anyone know the likely source of this fluid (the flower or the butt)?
