    Default Ubin Moths

This colorful moth was found on BH in Ubin.

    Crimson Speckled (Utethesia pulchella)

This was taken at MF. Not sure of the specie.
Hope I got the first one right.

    Hi Richard,

These are Utetheisa lotrix (Arctiidae, Arctiinae, Utetheisini) and Spodoptera picta (Noctuidae, Hadeninae).

see my website for identification of the common Asian Utetheisa species.

    cheers,

    Roger.

Thanks Roger for the IDs. You got a great site for checking on the ID of moths.
