    Default A camouflaged moth

Shot this one on a tree trunk. Almost missed it, if not for some slight movement that it made.

    Hi SK,

This is a species of Cleora (Geometridae, Ennominae, Boarmiini). Not quite sure which as the discal spot on the forewing medial fascia doesn't quite match any of the Hong Kong species. The nearest I'm familiar with would be Cleora fraterna.

    cheers,

    Roger.
