    The above pic of the Common 5-ring was taken in AH on 25/04/04, time 16:40; the same day as the legendary pic of the Common Rose. It was posted in CS: http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=71946

    Commander, was my Common Rose so beautiful that u did not take note of this?

    Can't find the name in the list. If the id is confirmed, the species count will be 71 now!

    If the pic is too small to id, I'll make it bigger. I got 4 diff pic of this guy in my folder.

    Yes, indeed it is! Thanks for 'discovering' a new species for AH. Easily identifiable from your shot as Ypthima baldus newboldi.

    Regarding the Common 5-ring, actually was lucky to be on this side of it; the wing on the other side was torn. You can feel it when u look at the lower portion of the hindwing; that corner is a bit lighter.
