Default Moth @ Mount Faber Park

Shot this moth sleeping on the wall opposite the Cable Car station at Mt Faber Park, whilst Ashwin was getting his Scarce Silverstreak to pose for him.

Thanks! Are you very knowledgeable about moths? We need someone who can help ID moths on this forum (even though we specialise on butterflies).

Just did a quick check on your advice. Lymantria marginalis is depicted in Holloway's Moths of Borneo website. The figure shown doesn't seem to match what I've shot. Looking around the website, the species Lymantria singapura seems to better match what I shot. Do you have any other resources that may help us ID this species?
