Arhopala agrata is possibly still extant but overlook.
There is no existing shot of Arhopala phanda so far.

I shot this Arhopala sometimes ago, and always wonder about the missing FW spot 9.
Is there a possibility that it is Arhopala agrata?

    Post 2.

It is a female Arhopala sublustris.
    There are some subtle differences.
    1. Markings weak & faint especially on FW in agrata.
    2. HW spot 6 is large with straight sides in agrata.
    3. Marginal spot 3 is weak & flat in agrata.
    4. HW submarginal spots have level inner margins in agrata; rounded/convex margins in sublustris.

Many thanks, Dr Seow for the detailed description of the differentiating features between the two species.
Now I know what to look for when I encounter similar-looking Arhopala in the field.

    Noted and thanks, Federick.

    Hopefully it is still extant.
