    Default Deudorix ID request

Hi Dr Seow, need your advice on the following specimen posted by a Butterfly Circle member. Am inclined towards elioti as there appears to be the "ill-defined spots" as described by CP5.

    Thank you!

It is male Deudorix epijarbas which is slightly aberrant.

This is because the FW postdiscal band extends below vein 2 ,with an extra spot in space 1b.

In D. elioti the FW postdiscal band ends at vein 2, so that there is no extension of a spot in space 1b ie it is empty.

The text about ill-defined spots referred to the upperside HW of E. epijarbas which have a series of darkish obscure spots.

    TL Seow: Cheers.
