Hi Dr Seow,
Have some skippers for ID. Also I'm a little confused about between Potanthus ganda and omaha, are the differences just the dark dusting in the HW veins across the orange patch? Because sometimes P. ganda seems to have a little dark scaling on the veins. Thank you!
1. Potanthus ganda?

2. This should be Potanthus omaha

3. Telicota augias? Very vibrant orange and very very faint HW markings (did not change the saturation or vibrancy in post-editing)

4. Telicota linna or besta? HW veins not dark dusted, but veins are strongly raised. I can't really tell if the body/face is paler. *Shot by Ash Foo

Post 32.
1 .Female Potanthus ganda.
2. Female Potanthus omaha (probably with some hybrid blood)
3. Male Telicota augias.
4. Female Telicota linna .
If the pic is very sharp & the veins can be seen to be clean it should be T. linna
Also note the body underparts (abdomen & thorax),and face are paler.
Telicota linna.
Male, female.

Hi Dr Seow,
Is this Telicota besta? The colour seemed a little off, but I reckon its from age. Thank you!
