    1 & 2. Baoris chapmani.

    3. Female Baoris unicolor.

    4. Female Caltoris kumara moorei.
Note pale area on antenna, no cellspot, & UnH white spot in space 2.

    Baoris usually have blackish antennae.
The pale area is very small on the underside & not easily seen in side view or above.
    Veins are more strongly raised.
A pale area in space 1b UnF is always present.

    Baoris chapmani.
Some authors consider this a subspecies of B. penincillata.
Evans state no cellspots & the rest reduced.
In SE Asia taxon chapmani may have occasional cellspot ,& the female may rarely be fully spotted.

    Baoris unicolor.
    Evans state both sexes unmarked.
UnF with a pale area in space 1b.

    Note black paintbrush on UpH.

    Caltoris kumara.
Most Caltoris have a larger & more prominent pale area on the antenna, visible in side view.
Females of C. bromus & kumara may /may not have 1 or 2 white spots in space 2 & 3 UnH.

    5. Probably Baoris chapmani.

The HW have probably some injury marks.
The FW have some tiny spots. most noticeable is a spot 6, a spot 7, & an upper cellspot at the base of vein 10, in the correct position.
    This is similar to this.

In B. farri the upper cellspot seem to at the base of vein 11, but this is possiblely variable.

The main difficulty is that B. farri also have forms with reduced spotting & looks exactly like B. chapmani.

It appears that B. chapmani is generally darker.

    6. Female Pelopidas assamensis.

The UnH have a cell spot & spot 4 & 5 are conjoined.
The cellspots on the UpF are conjoined but this also occur in P. assamensis.
    Females .
