    All are Eurema hecabe.
    E. hecabe lacks the identifying features in the other species.


    E. brigitta.
    FW without cellspot; HW with a diffuse fascia(band) running in space 4, 5, & 6, & 2 similar diffuse lunules in space 2 & 3; HW tornal margin straight.
    Female HW paler.

    FW with 3 cellspot. May have apical patch resembling E. simulatrix.
    HW postdiscal spot 7 short, often curved (lunulate); a small spot at the base of space 7.

    FW with a single cellspot .FW black border inner margins in space 2 & 3 aligned with apex.
    HW postdiscal spot 7 a sinuous streak.

    FW with single cellspot .HW spot 7 sinuous streak.
    FW inner margins of black border in space 2 & 3 slant towards costa (as in hecabe); HW margin not angular like in hecabe.
    Male is greenish yellow .Female is greenish white.
