    Female Telicota colon stinga.

    Female Telicota have a varying degree of paleness of the underparts.
    The white underparts seen here is easily confused with that in T. linna female but the HW veins across the band are darkened.


    Female T. colon have FW spots 4 & 5 not aligned, ie the upper spot 5 is shifted outwards from spot 4.
    Spots 4 & 5 may be distorted in shape ie not regular rectangles.
    Overlap between spot 4 & spot 3 below it is always slight.
