I took this Potanthus spp at an elevation of 1500metres,can this be Potanthus trachala as well as it was taken in same location la. https://flic.kr/p/2muYRCB
This one is fairly typical for Potanthus pseudomaesa clio.
FW with spotsc 4 & 5 close to the spots above & below, ie spot 4 is slightly overlapping spot 3, & spot 5 nearly touching spot 6.
Spots 2 & 3 with nearly straight margins.
HW with a prominent spot 6 (rare in P. trachala.)
This example below of P. pseudomaesa have spots 4 & 5 fully detached.
Southern India have only P. pseudomaesa, pallida, palnia, confucius & pava ie no P. trachala. https://www.ifoundbutterflies.org/me...b5d092b6-1.jpg
