    1. Borbo cinnara.
    Often confused with P. mathias.

    Borbo cinnara .
    HW without a cellspot.
    FW subapical spots in a deep arc.
    Antennal club thicker.
    HW spots mainly spot 2, 3, & 6. may have additional spots in between.
    Face white.

    Pelopidas mathias.
    HW with a cellspot.
    FW subapical spots in a shallow arc.
    HW spots in aseries ie spots 2, 3, 4, (5), 6, & (7).
    Antennal club fradual.

    3. Pelopidas mathias
    The HW cellspot is very weak here.




    2. Arhopala major.
    Two species with similar arrangement of spots.

    A. major,
    V. spot unequal, like a J or l with the lower arm longer.
    HW postdiscal spots above it always dislocated,

    A. amphimuta.
    HW V spot with equal arms.
    Postdiscal spots/band above it usually not dislocated.
