    Dear Dr. Seow sir,

    I am posting these Euploea sp. for ID help and review.


    1. Euploea midamus?

    Review.

    Euploea mulciber is correct.

    The undersides of the three E. midamus, algea & sylvester need a recheck as they differ very little.

    Correction.

    1 & 2 are E. sylvester hopei.

    The rest are E. mulciber.


    Euploea mulciber.
    FW apex strongly produced.
    UpF submarginal spots reaching apex & marginal spots usually.
    UnH with tiny spots.Discal area with fine streaks.

    The images of the next three species have upperside confirmation.

    E. algea deione.
    UnF without submarginal or marginal spots except at the tornus.

    Thank you so much sir for the above information.

    Reading the keys above, the FW is looking produced and discal spots looks reduced. So tentative Euploea midamus. Please have a look.

    Post 5.

    It should correct as E. midamus.
    The spots on the FW are reduced in number.
    Only two submarginal spots visible, but one is at the apex.
    Only three marginal spots visible all far down nearer the tornus.
    HW discal spots not prominent.
