ID help on various Neptis and other species of Meghalaya

Dear Dr. Seow sir, I and my friend have photographed the following butterflies in Meghalaya, North-east India.
I have tried to id some of them based on my limited knowledge. Your help in identification is highly appreciated.

In one of the previous post by our dear Sunny Chir on my behalf, the below Neptis was identified as Neptis capnodes pandoces in this forum. You can find the link of that post below

Based on the discussion provided in that post, I have considered the these three also (1. a, b and c) to be Neptis capnodes pandoces?

11. Is it Ragadia crito? What is the existence of Ragadia crito? Is it a good species or subspecies of Ragadia crisilda?

If they are separate species, can you please suggest how to differentiate them on the underside?

1 a, b, c are correct as Neptis capnodes pandocus.
I have to recheck everything because of the confusing underside colour.


Eliot states of taxon pandocus under N. yerburii. Underside some shade of rich reddish brown in dsf & purplish brown in wsf.

N. nata darker ;FW submarginal spots bent in slightly at apex.
HW discal white band not with a small white spot at the base of space 3 usually.

5 & 6 Neptis cartica.

N. carica & sankara are very similar, both having the FW cellend spot incompletely detached from the cell bar.

N. cartica. FW submarginal spots mostly separate, semilunulate .

N. ananta Orange yellow.
FW cleft between cellend spot & cellbar shallow ;notch in subapical fsacia deep.
FW submarginal band fades out at apex.

10. Ragadia crito.

Most people consider it a good species.

R. crisilda.
Upperside with most of the white bands darken except for the discal white band.
UnF discal white band about 1.5 X that of the width of the adjacent dark postdiscal band containing the ocelli. Correction : Dark band about 1.5X white band

Ragadia crito.
Upperside with white bands sullied but intact.
UnF discal white band narrow, to about 1/2 (at least in upper half) that of the width of the adjacent postdiscal band with the ocelli.

Correction .

While the white discal band UnH in R. crito is narrow there are a lot of variations in both species.

It is not possible to be precisely accurate.

Rephrase.

R. crisilda UnH white discal band equal or to about 2/3 width that of dark postdiscal band (with ocelli)

Thank you so much sir for the overall information. After looking at those references and ingormations here, it appears that individual variation may occur in Ragadis sp. and therefore an upper shot will be a better option for their identification.

With the information and keys provided above, my try to id some of these. Please have a look.
