    1. What is this ? Different from the normal Common Five-Ring.


    2. Shot at SICC in Dec. Tagiades calligana ?


    3. Shot same time as #2


    4. Abisara giza ? However, underside hindwing discal band is not dislocated at vein 4 ? A. kausambi ?

    PS: Did you shot it at TBHP? That's the only location where we have found it.
    Yes, shot at TBHP. How do you tell it is A saturata ?
    There were a few there. The host plant must be nearby.

    Thanks. The 1st photo in your Abisara geza page looks like A saturata .
    How do you differentiate the male/female ?

    From many of the shots that I took, the "dislocation" seems to be variable, though more pronounced in some than others. The first one on my website was shot at SICC with Simon. You're right in saying that it looks more like A. saturata than A. geza. It's the females that are harder to separate.

    Here's a shot of the male of A. saturata. The two bands on the forewings do not have any white at all, unlike the males of A. geza.

    Looks like all my 'A. geza' are actually A. saturata after all !

    What about the rest - is #1 Common Four-Ring and #2 T calligana ?
