    Acosmeryx is another complicated genus for me...
    Need you guidance...

    1. Acosmeryx pseudonaga.

    FW margin smooth & entire without a mid margin angulation.
    FW postmedial oblique crossing from costa to tornus.
    Antemdial equally dark before the discal spot.
    FW without a defined triangualr costal patch.

    A. shervillii is similar lighter with only the postmedial dark.



    2, 3, 4,
    Acosmeryx anceus.
    FW with a prominent mid margin angulation.
    FW with a pale costal triangle.
    FW postmedial dark ,the ouer arm angular to tornus, the inner arm down to dorsum(lower margin)

    5. Acosmeryx pseudonaga.
    FW costal pale triangle diffusely extend to outer margin.
    FW postmedial dark, the inner arm weak, pale; antemedial dark.



    6, 7, 8,
    Acosmeryx anceus.
    FW with mid margin angulatio & a defined costal triangle.

    9 & 10.
    Acosmeryx pseudonaga.
    FW without mid margin angulation
    FW costal triangle diffusely extend to outer margin.( not defined)
    Postmedial & antemedial dark. Postmedial inner arm obsolete.

    11.
    Acosmeryx anceus.
    FW with mid margin angulation & defined pale costal triangle.

    Acosmeryx shervillii.
    As in A. pseudonaga.
    Pale ,only the postmedial dark., its inner arm obsolete.

    A. omissa is similar but the inner border of the dark postmedial is sharply defined.

    Defined pale costal triangle.
    Postmedial branching & forming a quadrate patch with a pale centre.

    14 & 15.

    Acosmeryx sericeus. Correction 14 is A. pseudonaga ,15 is A. sericeus.
    FW without a defined costal triangle. Marking edged whitish eg FW basal patch.
    FW postmedial branches into two arms, the outer fairly smooth & not broadly angulated. ;inner arm narrow & dark.
    Additinal feature A. pseudonaga have smooth wing margins & A. sericeus crenulate margins.

    A. A. sinjaevi is not found in India.
    FW postmedial straight & ending just above the tornus.

    16 & 17.
    Acosmeryx anceus.

    A. castanea looks similar to A. anceus but the inner arm of the postmedial is absent or weak.
    FW mid margin not angulated.
