Bands without the inner dark striae.
FW postdiscal band dislocated at vein 6.
Black tornal spot without metallic scales.

HW band deeper orange than ground colour, with a nipple-like spot 6 at the top.

5.P. confucius. FW 13/14 mm. Veins not dark dusted.
FW upperside typically with a continuous single band in the male , variably less in the female.
UnF spots 4 & 5 usually with broad overlap above & below them.
