Default ID for Lineblues from Meghalaya, India

    Dear Dr. Seow sir,

I am enjoying my lockdown at present by posting my UFOs for ID in this forum that long been stored in my hard disk. Whatever I learnt so far is really priceless and I am really feeling lucky to be a part of.
Today. I am posting some images of Lineblues (not so good images) that I tried to ided myself. But somehow I feel it needs an expert's opinion.

    Thank you in advance,

    Cheers

It seems slowly i am getting used to of this rather confusing group. Here are some more for ID verification.

    6. Broaden white striae direct it to be N. pactolus.

    16. I feel something unusual in this Heliophorus sp. So posted it. UnH red border is of uniform width except the topmost spot that protrudes out like in H. indicus. The space between the red border are so heavily dusted that created my confusion.

    Thank you.

    6. is Nacaduba pactolus.
The shape of HW submarginal spot 6 & the rest of the submarginal spots forming a narrow regular band below it is unique.

    7 & 8 Prosotas dubiosa.

    9 & 10 Nacaduba beroe.
FW with the costal spot above the innermost band absent (as in Ionolyce helicon)
FW postdiscal band broken in the middle.

    11, 14, & 15 Prosotas nora.

    12 & 13 P. dubiosa.

16 is a typical male Heliophorus indicus.

    H ila.
UnH red border of uniform width the upper inner margin in space 6 not protruding inwards.
Male UpF darkish blue, no orange.

Both H. epicles & indicus have the upper part of the red border in space 6 protruding inwards.

    H epicles male UpF often with orange patch ;
UnH red border rather broad , white shading less but variable.

    H. indicus male UpF without orange ;purple blue sheen weak, dull.
UnH red border narrow often with heavier white shading.

Some examples are hard to judge, the red border being of intermediate width.

Thank you once again Seow sir. It seems the forum under your guidance seems to teach me very well. Now I feel confident about the Ids of Lineblue. Wish you a bright health ahead.

    Cheers
