This week (27 Jan) I visited Doi Inthanon, n. Thailand. There are certainly confirmed records of Neptis capnodes pandoces, a local species, and difficult to ID, from this area. The attached images are of one individual that I encountered that is giving me problems to identify. Might this be Neptis capnodes pandoces?
Also in the same area I recorded Neptis hylas, Neptis sappho, Neptis soma and Neptis cartica.
Looking at the cell bar and the three apical spots on the forewing, I think the above species can be ruled out.
I would be very grateful for some comments on the ID of this individual.
With thanks.
