These are very difficult .
It is hard to even match Evans' dsecription with any on the websites.

1. Probably H. filda.
There is a faint upper cellspot.
Despite the name Absent Ace, H. filda may have a tiny cellspot.

UnH central area paler, but band illdefined & suffused over.

2. Halpe wantona.
UpF with an upper cellspot ,spot 2 & 3 partially overlapping.
UnH central area darkish, not paler, pale postdiscal spots reduced in size, diffuse & somewhat obscure.

Caltoris cahira likely ssp austeni.
UnH very dark chocolate ;FW with 2 cellspots. Forms with paler HWs are also said to occur.

7. The proflie shape is suggestive of Baoris.
Baoris can can have variably reduced spots in number & size.

Y. huebneri have one dark fascia inner to the big eyespot, yellow ring on eyedpot broad.

Thank you so much for guiding us so well on this confusing group...what about Ypthima philomela peguana sir?? We got many Ypthima in Meghalaya and Tripura...will post them slowly here...but for now please guide us about the above mentioned species.

Wings not marked by any fascia except for the narrow submarginal line.
