Default Jamides elpis or J. alecto from s Thailand?

This butterfly was photographed in extreme southern Thailand (Yala) on the Malaysian border. It should be either J. elpis or alecto. The two species are very similar.

From an earlier posting I learned that the primary difference should be the width of the striae, especially on the outer part of the wings. Comparing to my other images of alecto (I have no images of elpis) and others on the web, I feel this should be a female elpis, but lack experience of this one in the field.

Could the ID be confirmed please?
    Many thanks.

The upperside show it is Jamides alecto.
The innermost white striae on the HW are rather thin here.

    J. alecto ;Male upperside FW with black border & HW with large marginal spots.
Un. white striae all rather broad.

Unusual male with thicker white striae ;Upperside show male J. elpis.
Note striae on HW inner half still rather thin.

Here is another individual from Phang-nga province. This image shows rather thin striae on the base of the hindwing, but maybe is just a rather thin alecto.

Looking at various images on the web one thing I notice, in general (not consistently) is that the distance between the basal two pairs on striae on the costal edge of the hindwing appears to average greater in elpis (as shown in this image).

    Thoughts?

This is Jamides ferrari evansi which is very rare. Only virgulatus and ferrari have the unbroken subbasal striae on the hindwing but this cannot be virgulatus. Even though there's an extra orange streak i'm still very confident this is ferrari

Ah, many thanks for that. No wonder I was struggling to identify this one.
