FW & HW uniform brown. FW cell with an upper cellspot (indicating 2 cellspots ie lower cellspot always present)
Male & female Taiwan. Female with HW hyaline spots.

Hi Dr Seow,

Please help ID this skipper. It was shot in Upper Seletar Reservoir last year. I hope the two other shots would help with the ID. I do apologise they are blurry though.

From the abdominal end it is a female.
The antennal club has a pale area which is normally invisible in Baoris.
Also Baoris female has a more elongate body; a pale mark at HW cellend; more curved FW.

C. bromusUnH dark brown often ochreous overlay in the male ;Female often 1- 2 small white spot in HW space 2 & 3.

It should be correct as a female C. bromus though there is no HW spot.
