    Dear Dr Seow,

    Are they both Nacaduba kurava nemana please?
    They are both taken in Mount Faber Park.

    Yes, they are both male N. kurava.
    Note the FW submarginal spots have rounded margins; the FW postdiscal band is quite straight (usually) & the dark striae are weak.

    Dear Dr Seow,

    Am I correct that there a difference in the marking in the HW? I have circled it to indicate the pointed marking which is not seen in the first photo.

    It is a bit of variation.

    Only Jamides have a prominent spike there, but no Jamides have three main bands on the FW.

    The nearest Jamides often mistaken for Nacaduba is J. bochus.
