Base of space typically black , but may be shaded orange as here (same for T. linna).

    Respected Sir,
I am sending herewith one Telicota male specimen for your ID guidance. Specimen captured by my nature friend from the West Bengal region on July'18. As per our previous discussion, I guessed it was T. bambusae. Please guide Sir.

Thank you for your valued response.Based on your 2nd example T. besta male specimen, uploaded species triangular basal spot at space 2 is lightly shaded. And both T. besta and bambusae male stigma extend upto space 1b.
In my post 7, basal spot 2 more prominent and broader as like your example T. besta male specimen no. 2.
Its totally confused for me till now Sir.

In a set specimen the grey male brand in T. besta is placed near the inner margin of the black space.
    This is the main difference.
    T. bambusae male have the base of space 2 variably orange dusted & so can be confused with T. besta
