    Default ID requested for Hasora species

    GREETINGS FROM INDIA!!

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I am sending herewith one life cycled Hasora sp. for id purpose. Life cycle completed from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. 1st time I fix it as a Hasora chromus but some doubt arised with UNH white streak seems to be like upto costal area. Please fuide me with along id.

    Yes it is a female Hasora chromus.
    Unusual as the HW band is rather broad.

    H. chromus; Male usually without a subapical spot. Female with one subapical spot, spot 2 crescentic.
    UnH dull purple brown, band of nearly even width, inner margin irregular; marginal white line exrending up to apex.

    H. vitta; Male & female with one subapical spot ;female spot 2 less crescentic.
    UnH basal area more blue-grey,band wider in upper half ,inner margin smoother; marginal white line short, only in tornal area.
