Raised from a caterpillar feeding on Bamboo. Singapore.
The FW spots are very bright and their shapes are unusual. These photos are taken a few hours after eclosion.

These two photos are taken today. Is it a Caltoris cahira? The caterpillar is found at a different location from the C.cahira bred earlier in May 2019.

Both are Caltoris bromus female.
There is a spot in space 2 in both individuals.
The 2nd have a further extra spot in space 6 (an aberration).
Upperside FW cellspots are large.
C. cahira never have HW spots in the female.
UnH is usually dark chocolate but may be paler.
TL Seow: Cheers.
