Default Eurema and Caltoris? Sri Lanka

Browsing through my older photo’s, I found these two from Sri Lanka which I haven’t been able to identify properly.

    1. Eurema: it looks like the FW cell spots are either absent or hidden by the HW.
Manipulating contrast and brightness shows some markings shimmering through that might qualify as FW cell-spots.
Besides, the overall impression seems to me more like E. hecabe or E. blanda than like the no-cell spot species E. laeta or E. brigitta.

    2. also from Mahiyangana, Sri Lanka, Jan 2013
    Caltoris philippina?
This tentative id. looks like a bit of a wild guess.

    Unhappy

There are only a few hundred species of butterflies in Sri Lanka.

    1. Eurema hecabe.
Those see thru spots are correctly the cellspots.

    E. blanda & hecabe are rather alike when the FW cellspots are hidden.
However if the pic is not distorted as here ,they can be told apart.
    E. hecabe have a squarish HW shape, the margin angular, & E blanda a more oval shape.

    E. hecabe.

    2. Caltoris philippina.
    C. philippina have narrow sharper FWs, & C. kumara the normal Caltoris shape.
