    Default Darts shot at Pulau Ubin

    Dear Dr Seow,

    Happy Lunar New Year!
    Appreciate if you could help to ID these darts. I am not sure how to tell them apart.

    1. Matapa aria male ; Note colour & red eye.

    2. Caltoris bromus male ;General brown colour.

    3. Telicota linna female ;Veins not dark dusted ;Underparts pale.

    4. Potanthus serina male ;Note FW spots 4 & 5 . spot 5 is 1/2 of spot 4; HW band with spot 6 at inner corner.

    5. Telicota colon female ;FW spots 4 & 5 distorted.

    6. Baoris farri male ;Note wingshape; HW with pale 'spot' in centre.

    7. Male Baoris farri. Sharper FW with sinuous margin; abdomen barred.

    8. Female Baoris farri ;Longer body shape; abdomen barred.
