Potanthus omaha male.
Smaller species; FW with spots 4 & 5 overlapping at least the spot below them( spot 3).
HW with uppermost spot (combined spot 4 + 5) barely projected outwards.
Underside lightly shaded.
Abdominal end yellow.

Potanthus trachala. mediumlarge .
FW with spot 4 & 5 not overlapping the spots above or below them ; they are connecte3d by the spikes.
FW spots with deely concave outer margins, & appearing spiky.
HW uppermost spot 4 + 5 projedted strongly outwards towards margin.
Heavier dark edgings.
Abdominal end with a strong black band.
