    The Malayan forms of the three species of Terinos are quite different from the subspecies further north but are easier to ID.

    1,[I] Terinos atlita teuthras[/I]. Always recognised by its angular FW with the apex truncated; HW with 2 chevron spots & tail at vein 4 longest.

    2. T. clarissa malayanus; FW apex rounded ;HW with salmon pink patch.

    3. Terinos terpander robertsia. FW apex rounded; HW with 2 helmet-shaped white spots.
