Differentiation of Zizeeria karsandra and Z. maha
From reading the literature, my understanding of the best distinction of telling Zizeeria karsandra and Z. maha apart is the alignment of the 4 lowest spots across the base of the hindwing (ignoring the tiny spot in space 1a which is sometimes hard to make out). In Z. maha these spots are out of alignment, but in karsandra they are in a straight line. Is this understanding correct And if so are these identifications correct?

Image 2. From Doi Luang (Chiang Mai). Again out of line, so Z. maha.

Image 3. Also from Doi Luang. These spots are almost in line. Not sure of this. I also note the marginal spots are very strong which seems to favour Z. maha, but the spot alignment looks more like Z. karsandra.

Image 5. This one is the most interesting. Photographed at Mae Moei extreme w Thailand. All markings very strong and the lowest four spots in a dead straight line. So I assume this must be Z. karsandra as so different to typical Z. maha. This one was photographed in June (middle of wet season). I am guessing there must also be some seasonal variation?
