Default Difference between Great Orange Awlet and Orange Awlet

    Dear Dr Seow,

Could you please help to ID these. The first appeared to be rather big as it was high up the wall at Wallace Education Centre (sorry, the picture is not so clear as it was heavily cropped). It could be Burara harisa consobrina (Orange Awlet). I think the second one is a Burara etelka(Great Orange Awlet) because it was indeed big, biggest that I have ever seen of any Awl. It was shot at Upper Seletar Reservoir. Your advise, please.

    Both are Burara etelka.

    B. etelka. Very large.
HW discal spot/patch solid , often constricted into two lobes, & placed very close to the HW cellend ;HW orange cilia only reaching vein 4.

Also recorded in Singapore in the past.
    B. oedipodea ;HW patch solid, & placed some distance from the cellend ; Orange cilia reach higher to vein 6.
The male may have the upper part of the HW folded over so vein 8 becomes rather short.
