    Default Which Miletus?

    Are both these Miletus biggsii? How to differentiate M.biggsii and M.symethus just from lower wing?

    they are both M. biggsii.

    M. biggsii :Uniform groud colour; FW postdiscal spot 6 strongly shifted out from spot 5 below it.
    Wings without white shading at the apices.
    2 males & 2 females.

    M. symethus : FW postdiscal spot 6 in line or nearly so with spot 5 ;Apices of both wings with white shading.
    2 females.

    Surprisingly no male from Singapore.
    Male from Indonesia.

    Two other species were recorded from Singapore.

    Probable female M. gaesa.
    FW postdiscal spot 6 in line with spot 5; Brown shading over marginal area of HW wings.

    M. gopara.
    FW postdiscal spot 6 more or less in line with spot 5 ;uniform ground colour.
    Probable male.

    Probable female. The 'tail' varies in extent.
