    Default Oriens, the little Dartlets.

    Oriens.. L. the East.

    Oriens comprise three species.

    Oriens gola.
    Sanskrit gola, the globe.

The bands on the wings are not crossed by dark-dusted veins on both sides.

    Oriens paragola.
    L. paragola .. beside gola ie closely related to the taxon gola.

The veins in the bands are also not dark-dusted.
The bands are edged by heavy brown fasciae giving it a distinct look.

    Oriens goloides.
    L. goloides.. like the taxon gola.

The veins crossing the bands are darkened.
This is strong on the uppersides and the UnF.
On the underside HW the veins are less obviously darkened.
This cause it to resembles O. gola in underside shots.

A single observation from Fraser's Hill.

Examples from India where it is common.

Oriens goloides is probably largely overlooked in P. Malaysia.
