Two Lethe species from Doi Phu Kha
Two Lethe species photographed at 1,700 metres on Doi Phu Kha, north Thailand last week.
I think image 1 is Lethe gulnihal peguana
and I think image 2 is Lethe insana insana (but I am less sure about that).
Would be grateful for confirmation, or correction please.

THey should be correct.
1 may be L gulnihai gulnihai.
HW both lines irregular.

According to Evans, in ssp gulnihal the FW twin marks near the cellend converge downwards.
They are parallel in ssp peguana.
Similar L. latiaris . FW with 4 submarginal ocelli.
HW discal line strongly angulated ; inner line regular .

2. L. insana insana .
FW with 3 submarginal ocelli ie spot 2,3,& 4, (rarely a spot 5 ), spot 1b absent . FW line oblique & slightly curved in (or mostly straight) & whitened, to costa. HW discal line mostly undulate. inner line regular.
