    Default Quedara monteithi monteithi

I thought this was a Notocrypta until closer inspection proved it not to be so.
So glad to finally see this rare one!
    Taken in USR.

Shot this last year but only had time to process it now. I believe this must be the male of Q. monteithi but i can't see the palpi to be sure.

    Thoughts?

    Agreed it is .
The HW have a uniform dark colour & the abdomen is blackish.
The palpi 2nd segment (labial palps) which covers the proboscis is more bulging.

    TL Seow: Cheers.
