Extra spots are not uncommon.
However, this is more likely to be Ypthima baldus newboldi intermediate form.

Ypthima baldus.
Ground colour buff/ light beige brown. spots 2 & 3 in wsf large & conjoined ,in full dsf almost obsolete.
Intermediates not uncommon & should occur in Singapore from time to time.
HW spot 5 almost always much bigger than spot 6, but deviations occur.

Ypthima horsfieldi humei.
Underside ground colour whiter & striae more contrasting;HW spot 2 & 3 usually separate, but may be large enough to touch; HW spot 5 & 6 subequal (ie varying size disparity).

Conflicting opinions meant this species is known as Y. nebulosa across the border in Thailand.

Y. fasciata; HW eyespots small & more in line ,with a dark connecting band; HW twin fascia strong & straight.
