    Default Help with ID

Dr Seow, are both butterflies the same or are they different species? They look very much the same but yet slightly different. Could you please help me with the ID of this butterfly or both of they are different? Thanks.

    Regards

    1. Caltoris cormasa male.
Generally Caltoris have less sinuous FWs & the antennal shows a pale area below the club in a side view.
    C. cormasa is rather more red brown on the underside than all other species.
    Male.

    2. female Baoris oceia.

Baoris farri female is always fully spotted so there are 3 subapical spots seen at all times.

The female B. oceia may have less spots & is usually darker.
